You’ve lost that loving feeling

You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips.
And there's no tenderness like before in your fingertips.
You're trying hard not to show it, (baby).
But baby, baby I know it...
You've lost that lovin' feeling,
Whoa, that lovin' feeling,
You've lost that lovin' feeling,
Now it's gone...gone...gone...wooooooh.
Now there's no welcome look in your eyes
when I reach for you.
And now your're starting to critisize little things I do.
It makes me just feel like crying, (baby).
'Cause baby, something in you is dying.
You lost that lovin' feeling,
Whoa, that lovin' feeling,
You've lost that lovin' feeling,image
Now it's gone...gone...gone...woooooah
Baby, baby, I get down on my knees for you.
If you would only love me like you used to do, yeah.
We had a love...a love...a love you don't find everyday.
So don't...don't...don't...don't let it slip away.
Baby (baby), baby (baby),
I beg of you please...please,
I need your love (I need your love),
I need your love (I need your love),
So bring it on back (So bring it on back),
Bring it on back (so bring it on back).
Bring back that lovin' feeling,
Whoa, that lovin' feeling
Bring back that lovin' feeling,
'Cause it's gone...gone...gone,
and I can't go on,
noooo...
Bring back that lovin' feeling,
Whoa, that lovin' feeling
Bring back that lovin' feeling,
'Cause it's gone...gone...

Water does not merge?

Wa huwal-lazi marajal-bahraini haza ‘azbun furatuw wahaza milhun ujaj(un) wa ja’ala bainahuma barzakhaw wa hijram mahjura(n).

He is the One who let free the two bodies of flowing water; one is fresh and palatable, while the other is salty and undrinkable. And He separated them with a formidable, inviolable barrier (evaporation). [Al-Furqan 25:53]

Professional diver/photographer Anatoly Beloshchin took these breathtaking photos in the cave in Cenote Angelita, Mexico. On your way down you can see spectacular layers of rocks formed during the last ice age. Here is his description of this bizarre and enchanting place:
“We are 30 meters deep, fresh water, then 60 meters deep – salty water and under me I see a river, island and fallen leaves… Actually, the river, which you can see, is a layer of hydrogen sulphide.”

Science found:

Fresh water is lighter than salt water. Therefore, fresh water "floats" on top of salt water. The underground boundary that separates the fresh water layer from the salt water is not a sharp boundary line. In reality, this boundary is a transition zone of brackish water (fresh/salt mixture). Fresh water has a density of 1.0 while salt water has a density of 1.025. From this, you can see that salt water is slightly heavier than fresh water.

He is the One who created the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, in six days, then He established Himself on the Throne: Allah The Most Gracious; ask about Him those who are well founded in knowledge. [Al-Furqan 25:59]

Prophet Muhammad (saw) ~ Birthday

image

Hazrat Muhammad's (saw) Birth (his story)

                  image image

image Hazrat Muhammad (saw) was born in the year 570 CE (fifty-three years before the Hijrah) in the town of Makkah, a mountain town in the high desert plateau of western Arabia. His name derives from the Arabic verb Hamada, meaning "to praise, to glorify." He was the first and only son of Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abd Al-Muttalib and Hazrat Aminah bint Wahab. Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abd Al-Muttalib died before Hazrat Muhammad's (saw) birth. The precise date of his birth is disputed among the historians, but Ayatullah Ruhullah Musawi al-Khomeini (ra), the founder of the Islamic revolution had declared the week between 12th and 17th Rabi al-Awwal, the third month of Muslim calendar as "Hafta-E-Wahdat" meaning "the week of unity amongst Muslims." Muslims all over the world are urged to get together and celebrate (Eid-E-Milad un Nabi) the birth of Hazrat Muhammad (saw) for the whole week.

image  imageThe year in which our Hazrat Muhammad (saw) was born is called as the Year of Elephant (Aam ul-Feel); it is because of that famous incidence in which the ruler of Yemen, Abraha tried to destroy Kaaba using his army of Elephants and a vast flock of small birds like swallows, carrying pebbles in their beaks darkened the sky and pelted them down upon the heads of Abraha's army causing deep puncture like wounds killing many. It is also said that at the same time for the first time in Arabia, the diseases of typhoid and smallpox appeared, affecting the whole army. Abraha himself suffered from smallpox, and remained alive only until he reached Yemen and died there. This is the theme mentioned in Noble Qur'an, Chapter 105 'Feel' (Elephant).

Since the birthday of Prophet Muhammad is based on the Islamic calendar, the date varies every year on the Western calendar because of the differences between both of them. The Islamic calendar is based on lunar movements and the Western calendar is based on solar calendar.

What do people do?

There are mixed beliefs on how one observes Muhammed's birthday. Some people see the prophet's birthday as an event worthy of praise. Others view the celebration of birthdays as contradictory to Islamic law.  Both sides cite the hadith (books of Islamic law) and events from Muhammed's life to support their views.            image Prophet Muhammad is considered to be the last Prophet of God and the last messenger of God by the Muslims. His birthday was first celebrated during the 13 th century followed by a month long celebration. The original celebrations included a sermon, honoring of religious deities, giving gifts, recitation of litanies followed by a feast. Homes and mosques are also decorated. Some people donate food and other goods for charity on or around this day. Others listen to their children read out poems about events that occurred in the prophet Muhammed's life. Nowadays, however, it is far more subdued although march pasts are still held at different places.

However, many Muslims also do not participate in celebrations on this day. Instead, they may mark the occasion by spending more time to read the Koran. Muhammed is said to have been born on a Monday and some scholars see fasting during the hours of daylight on Mondays as another way to celebrate his birth.

Trials and tribulations

Just unable to think nowadays… miss blogging too. This article caught my eye as I was browsing through my Facebook page this morning. I wanna this posted here as a reminder to myself mostly… ‘there’s always rainbow after it rains’… so, again.. copy paste.. (an article from Daily Reminder)

How to overcome trials and tribulations

What are the wisdoms and benefits are hidden within the trials

1. When a trial befalls you, realize the greatness of Allah

2. When a trial befalls you, actualize the sincerity for Allah
- There is no way to remove hardships except to turn to Allah
“If Allah touch thee with affliction, none can remove it but He; if He touch thee with happiness, He hath power over all things.” (Al-Quran, 6:17)

3. When a trial befalls you, return back to Allah
- “When some trouble touches man he cries unto his Lord, turning to Him in repentance” (Al-Quran, 39:8)

4. When a trial befalls you, don’t get angry, Control your anger.
- “So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear.” (Al-Quran, 37:101)
-The Prophet (PBUH) said to Ashaj Abdul Qais, “You have to qualities that Allah loves, for bearing and deliberation” (Sahih Of Imam Muslim)

5. Forgive the human who caused the trial/tribulation.
- Allah says in the Quran “The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree): but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is with Allah: for (Allah) loves not those who do wrong.” (Al-Quran, 42:40)

6. Be patient and steadfast when trials come, because Allah loves the one who is patient.
- Allah says in the Quran “And Allâh loves As-Sâbirun (the patient)” (Al-Quran, 3:146)
- Allah farther states “Those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!” (Al-Quran, 39:10)

7. Be happy when the trial comes to you.
- The prophet (PBUH) said “By the one whose hand is my soul, they would show joy on the onset of a calamity, as you show joy at time of ease” [Ibn majah, 424 : hakim ,119 : Authanticated by Al-Basni)

- Ibn Masud Said “Truly amazing are the two detested ones: death and poverty. They showed joy at the onset of a calamity because they knew full well that there in comparison between it’s hardship and it’s fruit and benefits. This situation is comparable to one who is cured from severe illness after drinking foul medicine”

8. Know that hardship erases sins.
- Allah Says in the Quran “Whatever misfortune happens to you, is because of the things your hands have wrought, and for many (of them) He grants forgiveness.” (Al-Quran, 42:30)
- The prophet (PBUH) said, “The believer is not afflicted with illness or hardship even if it be worry that troubles him or a thorn him except that his sins would be expiated as a result of it” (Sahih of Imam Bukhair)

9. Be nice to people that are going through trials.
- A poet once said “The only one to show mercy upon the lovers is one who has loved”

10. Understand the blessings of ease, because you only understand it when you loose it.

11. Realize the hidden benefits that a trial contains.
- Allah says in the Quran “O you who believe! You are forbidden to inherit women against their will, and you should not treat them with harshness, that you may take away part of the Mahr you have given them, unless they commit open illegal sexual intercourse. And live with them honourably. If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and Allâh brings through it a great deal of good.” (Al-Quran 4:19)

12. Trial and tribulation protects one from arrogance.
- when you are hit by a trial you realize how low you are.
Allah says in the Quran,” And if Allah were to enlarge the provision for His slaves, they would surely rebel in the earth, but He sends down by measure as He wills. Verily! He is in respect of His slaves, the Well-Aware, the All-Seer (of things that benefit them).” (Al-Quran 42:27)

13. Who are we not to get tested?
- The prophet (PBUH) said “The example of a believer is like of a plant, the wind is always making it lean in one direction and then another, in the same way the believer is always afflicted with trials” (Sahih of Imam Bukhari)

14. Hardship cause one to turn toward Allah and ease turns one away from Allah
- Is was the reason why the Sahabas wore modest clothing and ate little.

15. Be content with the trial because this will lead to Allah’s pleasure, which is much batter then paradise and whatever it contains.

- “Allâh has promised the believers -men and women, – Gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein forever, and beautiful mansions in Gardens of ‘Adn (Eden Paradise). But the greatest bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allâh. That is the supreme success.” (Al-Quran 9:72)
