TOMORROW NEVER COMES…

If I knew it would be the last time that I’d see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly, and pray the Lord your soul to keep,

If I knew it would be the last time that I’d see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and kiss, and call you back for just one more,

If I knew it would be the last time I’d hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would tape each word and action, and play them back throughout my days,

If I knew it would be the last time, I would spare an extra minute or two, to stop and say “I LOVE YOU” instead of assuming you know I do.

So… just in case tomorrow never comes, and today is all I get, I’d like to say how much I love you, and I hope we never will forget.

TOMORROW IS NOT PROMISED to anyone, young or old alike, and today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.

Kromosom X yang lemah…

... dari sel-sel yang tak cukup sifat, kita mengandaikan juga adanya sel yang lemah atau kromosom Xnya yang lemah. makanya ia dipanggil 'Sindrom Fragile X'. Boleh dikatakan disinilah berpuncanya permasalahan. Fragile X ini menimbulkan masalah yang meluas. Banyak jenis kecacatan bermula dari kromosom X yang lemah ini.

Gen yang berkait secara langsung dengan sindrom 'fragile' X namanya FMR1 (Fragile X Mental Retardation 1). Antara yang sering didiagnosis berkaitan sindrom ini ialah Autism Spektrum dan Sindrom Down....

'Fragile X' kebiasaannya adalah melalui keturunan...  (recessive/dominant inheritance) pembawanya, sesiapa sahaja. Gen yang cacat apabila bercantum dengan gen pasangannya berkebarangkalian diturunkan kepada generasi terkemudian. Walaupun, kecacatan tidak menyerlah serta-merta pada keturunan yang sedia ada, ia boleh timbul pada mana-mana generasi, bila-bila saja.

I appreciate and I am thankful...

People come into your life for a REASON, a SEASON or a LIFETIME. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. 

    

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.  

 
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.

They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.

 

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.

Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

THE MYSTERIOUS THING CALLED

        LOVE

             

One sided...                    

        If you find yourself in love with someone who does not love you, be gentle with yourself. There is nothing wrong with you. Love just didn’t choose to rest in the other person’s heart.

If you find someone else in love with you and you don’t love back in return, feel honored that love came and called at your door, but gently refuse the gift you cannot return, do not take advantage, do not cause pain.

How you deal with love is how you deal with you, and all our hearts feel the same pains and joys, even if our lives and ways are different.

A broken love...   

If you fall in love with another, and he/she falls in love with you, but then love chooses to leave, do not try to reclaim it or to assess blame, let it go. There is a reason and there is a meaning. You will know in time.

Remember that you don’t choose love. Love chooses you. All you can really do is accept it for all its mystery when it comes into your life. Feel the way it fills you to overflowing, then reach out and give it away.

Give it:

Give it back to the person who brought it alive in you. Give it to others who deem it poor in spirit. Give it to the world around you in anyway you can. There is where many lovers go wrong. Having been so long without love, they understand love only as a need. They see their hearts as empty places that will be filled by love, and they begin to look at love as something that flows to them rather than from them.

The first blush of new love is filled to overflowing, but as their love cools, they revert to seeing their love as need. They cease to be someone who generates love and instead become someone who seeks love.

Unconditional....

They forget that the secret of love is that it is a gift, and that it can be made to grow by giving it away.

Remember this, and keep it to your heart.

Love has its own time, its own seasons, and its own reason for coming and going. You cannot bribe it or coerce it, or reason it into staying.

You can only embrace it when it arrives and give it away when it comes to you.

But if it chooses to leave from your heart or from the heart of your lover, there is nothing you can do and there is nothing you should do.

Love always has been and always will be a mystery. Be glad that it came to live for a moment in your life.

Genetik…

Ha!!! Mari kita belajar sains plak… (mana-mana doktor yang membaca blog saya ni, sekiranya ada silap, perbetulkanlah. Saya cuma berkongsi pengetahuan)

OK.. Genetik; ianya adalah pengajian tentang sifat biologi serta keturunannya. Semuanya dikodkan pada gen, yang mana ia adalah rangkaian ‘nucleic acids’ atau yang biasa kita dengar ‘DNA’. Pada kod-kod inilah terteranya informasi tentang apa yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan protin yang membentuk sel-sel.

Setiap satu sel yang normal/sihat mengandungi 23 pasangan kromosom. Kromosom pula mengandungi gen yang punya rakan sejawatnya/lawan.. ala… geng dialah!! kan semuanya dijadikan berpasang-pasang… ada pasangan gen yang menonjol dan ada yang tidak.. Pasangan gen nilah yang menentukan karektor yang diwarisinya… Pendek kata;

gen –> kromosom –> sel.

Kuasa Allah…. subhanallah…

OK.. part birds and bees. (dulu masa cikgu ajar segan-segan… tak nak dengar… ) Kita ni terdiri dari berjuta-juta lemon… sel… heheh. Asalnya, terjadi bila berlakunya persenyawaan antara telur dari si ibu dan sperma dari si bapa, maka bermulalah suatu ‘kehidupan’. Orang ke, binatang mahupun pokok… lebihkurang tulah konsep dia.. sekarang ni kita blog pasal orang….

Sel yang terlibat dalam reproduksi ni lain sikit. Biasanya dia ‘beranak’ menjadi dua di mana yang satu lagi, sebiji macam yang asal… ini dipanggil ‘mitosis’. Gambarajah di atas ialah proses pembahagian sel – mitosis san meiosis

Yang lagi satu dipanggil ‘meiosis’. Yang ini, setiap satu kromosom dalam sel mencari pasangannya(sex cells), kemudian berpisah menjadi sel yang baru dengan pasangannya…. Tiap satu sel sepatutnya masih mempunyai 23 pasangan kromosom. Salah satu dari 23 pasang kromosom tulah yang menentukan jantan/betina janin.

Dari telur orang pompuan, pasangan kromosomnya ialah XX manakala dari sperma lelaki pasangan kromosomnya ialah XY. Maka, bila terjadi persenyawaan dan pembahagian sel berlaku melalui kaedah ‘meiosis’, yang pompuan sah-sah bawa kromosom X dan lelaki boleh jadi X atau Y…. tulah yang jadi anak lelaki (X + Y) atau pompuan (X + X). {Yang menentukan anak ialah si Ayah!!! Tahniah!}

Pendekkan cerita, bila ada sel yang tak sihat atau lebih terperincinya apabila ada kromosom X yang tidak cukup sifat, itu antara punca-punca terjadinya kecacatan. Sekiranya kromosom X yang cacat itu diwarisi oleh janin perempuan, kromosom X yang lagi satu mungkin boleh cover line…. tapi kalau yang mewarisi adalah janin lelaki…. kromosom Y, tak dapek nak nolong.
