Which Greek Goddess?

Another quiz!!!  I do get my kicks out of these… most of the time it makes me laugh to read the results. However, the ‘thinker’ part of me, sometimes do not know how to leave it alone. Anyway, it is interesting to read up on different subjects…

Rain drenched Chimpanzees
are sometimes seen shaking sticks at the sky.
Religion is older than Humanity.
Think beyond the paradigms of one book.

We do not tell you how to think,
Merely that you should, So that you may be Free.

imageWhich Greek Goddess are you on Facebook?

Result:

“You are Athena! The Greek Goddess of war and wisdom. Like Athena you are adventurous and live your life to the fullest. You're not afraid of a challenge and you tend to be on the competitive side. Although you are a person who can get physical, you never neglect the wise attitude you carry. You're smart and when it comes to making decisions, you always think before you act.”

The only person you need impress, Is Yourself.

But if you do not impress yourself,
How will you know whom you were?
Whom you Are?

What does YOUR life stand for?

What do you want it to stand for?

What are you waiting for?

 ATHENA THE GREEK GODDESS

Who is she? Greek Goddess? Another mythology…  interesting none-the-less. Why am I linked to her? Quiz was for character…. so, let’s study Athena then… but before that:

Greek Mythology: Is the body of traditional tales concerning the gods, heroes, and rituals of the ancient Greeks. Critical Greeks, such as Plato in the 5th-4th century BCE, recognized the considerable element of fiction in the myths, although in general the Greeks viewed them as true accounts

There’s a few hundred sites/blogs that explain in detail about Athena… in brief:

Athena is the name of an important goddess for the Greeks. She is the patron goddess of Athens, the goddess of wisdom, a goddess of arts and crafts (agriculture, navigation, spinning, weaving, and needlework), the favorite daughter of her father Zeus, and, as a war goddess with a focus on strategy more than bloodshed, an active participant in the Trojan War. She gave Athens the gift of the olive tree, providing oil, food, and wood.image

I gave you the Olive, for peace and longevity.Under my olive branches,You gave Yourselves Debate and Democracy…… Reason and Civilization!image All I ask is that you remember…Who I am, Who you are,What YOU can do… if You but wish to…For I have Faith in YOU,and in YOUR Children. image
