1 Spain – 0 Netherlands
it was the 28th minute of extra time… a robust game played.. so many yellow cards was out ~ more than 10! I lost count ~ to keep the game in order but both teams managed to ‘play ball’…
and so, the Champion of the FIFA World Cup 2010 goes to Spain. Andres Iniesta nestled his shot neatly past Maarten Stekelenburg into the left-hand corner of the net after a delicate pass into space from Cesc Fabregas. 
Paul the oracle octopus has predicted correctly… AGAIN. Making it a total 100% this time round. As a completely neutral person, I was up to watch a great game and mostly to see first hand how Paul’s prediction will come true. Expecting the game to go into penalty shoot-out, it was stunning when the ball hit the net. Probably because of the offside seconds before it. The Dutch team must have expected a whistle for it and slackened a little, Iniesta used it to his advantage and sent it in… 
it wasn’t an offside anyway…
It was an exhausting game for both teams… for me too!! I’ve been up since midnight, watch the closing ceremony a little, NCIS, House, CSI… before the kick-off and waiting for the goal which finally was delivered at precisely 5am, Malaysian time… it’s our sleeping hours and a Monday… (betcha’ people will be moving like zombies today!) So, the anxiety and excitement of it all sends me here, penning my thoughts. (Well, I am not to fall asleep ya)Two cents?
