I am neither a football fanatic nor a die hard fan of any team in particular… but I do follow World Cup to a certain extend. Well, it comes once in every four years. Always interesting to see.
I do enjoy the great goals, the thrilling near goals and how a keeper moves with speed of lightning (reflex action ya!) to save his ‘territory’. Fantastic!
Yesterday was the all round favourite green yellow jersey ~ team Brazil against the orange jersey Netherlands. Turn of events made me put my bet on the orange team instead and it was surely a no disappointment there! Full ninety-three minutes of nail biting, anxiety at the highest to see who would falter. So many upsets this time round of FIFA World Cup. Well, they say the ball is round… it rolls!
Tonight, another two favourites of mine. Of course it is a young team versus the more established players. Still… they held their grounds so far. Another upset is much awaited for. 
Plus… Paul the psychic octopus deliberated and has ‘spoken’!!! So, go Germany go! Nothing to loose… (just qualification to the semi finals huh)
No offence to the Argentina team… I am just a huge fan of the colours on Germany’s flag and Schwarzenbach the German fashion sports brand. 
Anyway, the thought of Diego Maradona keeping to his side of the promise if the blue white stripes team wins scare me!! It’s not like the physic now is anywhere near Mr. Universe… 
for me to feast my eyes on…far from it. So, Dear God… save him! PLEASE…

Diego Maradona has promised to run naked through the center of Buenos Aires if Argentina wins the World Cup.

The Argentina coach made the promise during a radio show. The unpredictable Maradona was speaking a day after Argentina defeated Canada 5-0 in its final warm-up match before the World Cup.
Argentina plays in Group B, opening against Nigeria on June 12.
The Gauchos also face Greece and South Korea.
WAKA WAKA… everything in South Africa!!!!
p.s. – Psychologically…. Maradona indicates that the team will not go far. Stark naked? What do you think?? He is worth more…
